I am an ancient starclan cat.I was the fourth member of STarclan.As usual there owltar had started an argument.Owlstar beleived he was the first cat to enter Starclan while Brindlestar beleived she was the first cat of Starclan.Of course they were both wrong.the very first cat of Starclan was Shadow.Not a warrior name I know.Shadow was the first to die when there was a great battle between the wildcats of the forest,before the clans existed.Many cats died on that night.But the clans were founded then too,thats a different story though.The fewcats that do know of Shadows existent think Shadow is a myth while many dont even know who she is.Her story has been erased from all living memory over generations.It is known only by few.Of course we are of Starclan.All cats who come to Starclan have seen Shadow.Shadow brings them here.But the journey is so quick they do not remember.There are Starclanners who think they have seen her but none who know for sure.Shadows home is a small island,it is known as Ghost Island because it seems to disapear most of the time and show itself only to the pure of heart,none have ever been on the island though.Some cats say they saw Shadow from a distance but when they blinked her figure was gone.One cat claims he stood next to her,He walked around to look at her face but when he blinked she was gone.No cat knows exactly what she looks like.Her pelt tends to change color to disguise herself.She very well may be amoung us here and now.But no one will ever know.Shadow is a mystery.
